Slippage

Slippage is the gap between the price you expect for a trade and the price it actually fills at. It grows when markets move fast or when liquidity is thin. A good execution engine aims to keep slippage low.

Liquidity

Liquidity describes how easily an asset can be bought or sold without moving its price much. Deep liquidity means large trades cause small price changes; thin liquidity means even small trades can swing the price.

DEX (Decentralized Exchange)

A DEX lets people trade directly on-chain through smart contracts, without handing funds to a central operator. Its strength is transparency; its trade-off can be speed and ease of use.

CEX (Centralized Exchange)

A CEX is run by a company that matches orders and holds users' funds. It's usually fast and beginner-friendly, but you're trusting the operator. Zhenora uses a hybrid CEX-DEX approach to balance both.

Execution

Execution is the actual process of filling your order. Smart execution routes an order across available liquidity to get a predictable price with minimal slippage.

Market capitalization

Market cap is a token's price multiplied by its circulating supply — a rough measure of its overall size relative to other assets.

Trading volume

Volume is how much of an asset was traded over a period (for example, 24 hours). Higher volume often signals stronger interest and, usually, healthier liquidity.

Staking

Staking means locking up a token to support a network or ecosystem, usually in return for rewards. On Zhenora you can stake ZHEN and track rewards from your dashboard.

Volatility

Volatility measures how sharply a price moves over time. Crypto assets are often highly volatile, which creates both opportunity and risk.

Wallet

A wallet stores the keys that let you hold and move crypto. On a trading platform, your balance is the funds available to trade, deposit or withdraw.
